Global Affiliate Scholarship Application
The Global Affiliate Scholarship Program provides assistance and funding for individuals or groups that have shown dedication to the PFIC Network and its mission, and strive to further its mission in their own countries. Do you want to host a regional PFIC meetup or attend a rare disease advocacy conference? What about start a registered charitable organization in your home country to raise money for PFIC research or run a virtual disease education campaign in your native language? We invite you to fill out the Global Affiliate Scholarship Application below! PFIC Network is open to funding a variety of educational and advocacy projects all over the world.
Scholarship Rules
PFIC Network Board of Directors will review all scholarship applications. Scholarship recipients should expect to work closely with both the PFIC Network Board of Directors and staff members during their funding period. PFIC Network will continue to serve as a centralized source for all programming.
PFIC Network will only award funds to projects that further our mission and values. Funds must be used in accordance with the terms and conditions o f the program. Recipients must submit a signed release form and terms and conditions of use to PFIC Network. PFIC Network will not disburse funds without a signed contract. Scholarship recipients must provide appropriate and ongoing documentation showing compliance to grant terms and conditions.
Scholarship Eligibility Requirements:

- Active supporter of PFIC Network and its mission.
- Prior and continued participation in the PFIC Network International Alliance
- Priority will be given to applicants who are current registered Global Affiliates or who are working towards Affiliate status.
Recipients of the Affiliate Scholarship must commit to the following:

- Participate in an interview with the PFIC Network after application is submitted
- Must sign a minimum 2-year commitment (if applicable to project) to overseeing the programming supported by the scholarship
- Agree to attend a minimum of (2) check-in calls with the PN Executive Director and/or Program Manager
